Who We Are
Anyone from the Steeleville area in the 9th - 12th grades is welcome to be a part of the St. Mark's Youth Group.  In the past, not only members from St. Mark's have come to youth group, but members from other Lutheran churches and denominations have as well. 

 

What We Do
The first Sunday of the month is a business meeting led by the youth.  The remaining three or four Sundays of each month usually include at least one of the following: a longer format Bible Study, a service event, and a "fun" activity.  Most activities include prayer and devotions.  What we do (i.e. Bible Study topics, service projects and "fun" activities) are choices made by the youth during the business meetings each month.  
 
When We Meet
The Youth Group meets every Sunday night at 6:30pm throughout the entire year.  The meetings are attended by at least one (usually more) youth group counselor.
 
LCMS National Youth Gatherings
Every three years the youth group attends the LCMS National Youth Gathering.  In the past, LCMS youth gatherings have been held in San Antonio, New Orleans, Atlanta, Orlando and many other places. The youth group works together to fundraise for this event.  This is a great opportunity for St. Mark's youth to worship their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and serve their neighbor with over 30,000 other teenagers who share their faith.
