Growing In Christ Together

Wednesday Bible Hour
Every Wednesday morning at 10:00am in the office meeting room, we gather to study God's Word.  Anyone who is interested is welcomed to come!  We take our time and dig deep as we work our way through books of the Bible.  Discussion is lively; Questions and comments are always welcome. Sometimes, we get distracted from the main topic of the day to find out what the Bible says about the questions or concerns that are on our hearts that day.

Lutheran Women in Mission
Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is the women's auxiliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  Ladies who are a part of LWML meet regularly at St. Mark's and also attend circuit, district and national LWML conferences and conventions.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is held each year during the summer at St. Mark's Lutheran School.  Geared toward grade school age children, this is a fun and rewarding way we are able to share the love of God in Jesus Christ to children and their families in the Steeleville community.

Sunday Adult Bible Studies
At various timed during the year one to three adult Bible studies are held on Sunday mornings.   An adult special education class is offered in the church office meeting room.  Other Bible studies, led  by our pastor, vicars and members, meet in the church fellowship room and school rooms.  Please consult our weekly church bulletin for more information on the meeting times, topics and locations of St. Mark's Sunday morning Bible studies.

Sunday School - For Children and Youth
From September through May each year, all children and youth from K-12th grades are welcome to attend  Sunday School classes held at St. Mark's School.

Parent - Teacher League (P.T.L.)

Every parent of a St. Mark's Lutheran School student is a member of  the P.T.L.  Through the P.T.L. parents provide support for the classroom teachers, offer fun activities for the children, and through fundaisers, offer important resources to support our school.

Other Opportunities For Fellowship
There are many other exciting ways to get involved at St. Mark's Lutheran Church and School - plays, the fall Wurstmart, the spring Chicken Dinner, etc.  Check out St. Mark's Church's weekly bulletin,  "School Notes," or the monthly newsletter for more opportunities!
